TEAM  SIKES

Brian is the Theater Director for Rome High School and was previously an English teacher at Rome Middle School. Overall, Brian has been teaching for nearly 25 years. He has little dance experience despite directing show choirs for over 10 years. He says he appreciates all forms of music, but gravitates toward Swing styles. Brian is highly impressed with the Tango and says, consequently, this is a style he will stay far away from. He is participating in RCDC this year to challenge himself and give back to the community. Brian hopes to gain skills and insights into the art of dancing, as well as to break out of his comfort zone. His favorite quote reads, “No matter where you go…there you are.” – Buckaroo Banzai
