Lewis teaches kindergarten at Berry College Elementary School. He has no formal dance experience, but is the holder of two black belts in martial arts, and loves quick-moving and fluid styles of dance. Lewis is participating in RCDC this year to bring awareness to the issue of sexual abuse. He says his mom, a counselor and mentor of survivors of abuse, is his number one supporter in this event. He hopes to meet new people and accomplish the challenge of dancing a routine on stage. His favorite quote reads, “Every chess master was once a beginner.” –Unknown
Tara has been a nurse for 28 years and works as a pediatric nurse at Harbin Clinic. She started dancing at the age of three and is currently on staff at The Dance Centre teaching intermediate/advanced jazz. She enjoys all types of music and loves all styles of dance. She is participating in RCDC this year because she thought it would be a fun way to raise funds for a great cause. Tara hopes to raise awareness for the SACNWGA through her participation. Her favorite quote is by Walt Disney and reads, “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”.
